Our Story
We met in the local church when we were 6 years old.

Tanner and Leilani Ming
Lead Pastors
We met in the local church when we were 6 years old. We are a product of the church. We believe the mobilized church is still the hope of the world.
Church planting is in my veins. I'm a 5th generation preacher and I currently have 5 church planters in my family. I've lived this out with my dad for the past 20 years in Los Angeles, watching God do incredible things. But perhaps my favorite thing to ever come out of church planting was a Filipino Italian girl who walked into our launch Sunday when I was 6 years old...
Leilani's family lived across the street from the elementary school where there was a new church. Her family happened to stumble into my dad's church on launch Sunday. From that moment on, Leilani and I grew up together in a healthy, life giving church community where we found lifelong friends, mentors, discipleship, and a strong foundation for our faith and family. But our story isn't just about us.
2020
In 2020, just a few months after getting married and buying our first home, my wife and I found ourselves sitting in an empty house, starting our life together. We spent our life building the local church as pastors on staff and were living in the season we prayed for, but deep down, something still felt incomplete. We couldn't fully explain it at the time, but we began to realize our home was never meant to be just for us. God wanted to use it as a refuge for people who needed hope, healing, and family.
So we made a simple decision: we would stay open. Open to people. Open to interruptions. Open to whatever God wanted to do.

The story that showed us why
Lindsey
At first, we honestly thought that would just look like hosting people, having dinners, and opening our home for community nights. But then we met a young college student named Lindsey. Lindsey found herself in church one Sunday. She was young, far from God, and always on the run. She was living on a couch at the time.
She came forward for prayer and my wife got to lead her to salvation and life with Christ. But Lindsey didn't have a place that she could truly call "home". We had an empty room, but more importantly, we had a heart to help.
So we invited her into our home. Not because we had all the answers. Not because we were trying to "save" someone. We simply wanted her to experience the love of Jesus through everyday life, through consistency, encouragement, prayer, laughter, dinners together, playing with our kids, game nights where we get too competitive, and having a safe place to belong.
Then, it happened again. And again. One after another, God kept bringing people into our lives who were desperate not just for housing, but for home. For all 6 years of our marriage, I kid you not, our house has been filled with people. Our home has been, and continues to be a refuge, and we haven't regretted one minute of it.

I want to help other people find a home in Christ the same way I did.

And over the next several years, we watched God completely transform Lindsey's life. We watched her find healing. We watched her overcome fear and anxiety. We watched her discover her calling to ministry and become an incredibly charismatic leader.
When we told her we felt called to plant a church across the country, 2,200 miles away... she immediately responded, "I want to help other people find a home in Christ the same way I did."
That moment wrecked me. Because Lindsey is not just a story to us. She represents the reason we are planting this church.

Why Orlando?
Why We Left Los Angeles
We believe there are thousands of people in Orlando just like Lindsey. People who are surrounded by crowds yet still feel alone. People who are successful on the outside but empty on the inside. People who are entertained by all Orlando has to offer - entertained but not discipled.
And that's why Leilani and I and our three kids left everything we know in Los Angeles to move to Orlando, Florida. We believe God is calling us to the hospitality capitol of the world to build a church where every person can come home. A church where people are genuinely seen, loved, discipled, and transformed by Jesus. Hospitality is our heart.
20 people moved here with us.
We know, it shocks us too. 20 people decided to move with us to Orlando. Some married, some with kids, some single - but all of us with the same vision: to build a home for people spiritually.
